Seeking advice from a Medical Expert and Psychologist/Therapist
MEDICAL
- I am seeking interesting facts on miscarriage.
- Who is most likely to miscarry?
- Is there anything that can be done (aside from the obvious, such as abstaining from smoking, drinking & high-risk activities) to reduce your risk?
- At what age do we start to become more likely to miscarry?
- What are the odds of multiple miscarriages?
PSHYCHOLOGICAL
- What kinds of coping techniques are the most impactful?
- What’s the best way to share news?
- What’s the best way to deal with ridiculous reactions to your news?
- What can couples do to limit stress on the marriage/partnership and become stronger in their relationship?
- Assuming health affairs are in order, how can the couple be sure they are “emotionally” ready to try again?
I would be interested in hearing from individuals who have suffered a miscarriage to share their experience/what worked for them as well.
Thank you.
