Summer is approaching and kids need something to do over the summer. I have two special needs children. My oldest has Autism and ADHD, while my youngest has global development delays and a heart condition. Finding them things to do requires a lot of research and planning. I look at location, types of activities to see if my kids are a good fit to attend. I also look at price. If the event costs too much for myself and two kids (tickets and food), I may not attend. I am looking to create a guide, for my blog,
Perfect Chaos about summer events and activities for special needs children. Instead of staying at home, the kids can go out and have fun. If you have an event or camp or activity, please let me know.
Some of the ideas I have for the guide is to organize by price and location. I also may do a video compiling the information together on Youtube, Vimeo, or both. If you are local to the Houston area, I can do interviews, photos, and videos, if permission is granted. I can either post to Perfect Chaos or StacieDWyatt.com, depending.
