Antonio “Tony” Filippone, is the Author of "Financial Planning For The Not Yet Wealthy" Mr. Filippone has been interviewed on the Healthy, Wealthy and Wise Radio Show as well as locally on Live At Five with Dean Ervin and Mortgage Talk on WROK News Talk Radio 1440AM. He has also published numerous articles for highly acclaimed financial planning journals such as The Register, The Financial Services Journal as well as many internet publications. In addition to being a published author and radio guest, Tony is also a well know and respected speaker and has spoken as a financial expert at Rock Valley College as well as for the County of Winnebago while participating in Money Smart Week sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Tony was raised on Long Island, NY where he grew up working in the Family Top Soil delivery business. It was real “get your hands dirty work” with heavy lifting and long hours but he learned what it meant to “work” for a living. It was this upbringing that inspired him to write a financial book that would appeal to other hard working middle American families.

Tony was the only member of his immediate family to graduate from college which he did in May of 1993. Almost immediately after graduation he was hired by a world-renowned financial services firm in New York where he successfully assisted many families to safely reach their financial goals. He has had a passion for helping middle American families with their financial concerns ever since.

In 2001 Antonio and his wife Patricia decided they wanted to expand their family and so they moved to Rockford, IL where Patricia was originally from. They choose the Mid West as the setting for them to raise their family due to the lower cost of living and the more relaxed pace of life. Antonio, Patricia and their two home schooled children Nino and Katie enjoy living in the Rockford area very much.
