Prison is the last place entrepreneur Trish Jenkins expected to find herself. A chance encounter with an investment opportunity put her on the wrong side of the Corporations Act and destroyed her multi-million dollar portfolio, including her family home.
It took years for a voluntary liquidation (death of a thousand cuts) to culminate in a prison term. For 8 months in 2009, Trish was isolated from her husband and 3 little girls; living among murderers, drug addicts and frauds. State sponsored degradation of women is distressing and damaging.
But treasure is found in dark places.

During the liquidation, Trish researched and wrote, "Dangerous Wealth: What Every Woman Needs to Know to Avoid Being Ripped Off!"
She became an authority on financial and romantic fraud, warning signals and recovery strategies.

Her second book is "Treasures of Darkness - A Prison Journey." This book is made up of my letters and private journal entries, written in prison. It tracks how I coped and reveals lessons that others can benefit from.

In her imprisonment, Trish found an inner strength that enabled her to even comfort those around her. Trish was determined to turn the incarceration into an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those around her. In doing so she found a different kind of freedom and healing.
