Marc Phillip Yablonka is a military journalist whose work has appeared in Stars and Stripes, Army Times, Vietnam magazine, American Veteran, Military Heritage, Soldier of Fortune and many others.

Prior to that, he filed as a stringer for the Los Angeles Times, National Catholic Register, and the L.A. bureaus of Reuters and Agence France Presse.

He holds the Masters of Professional Writing degree earned from the University of Southern California.

Marc's first book, "Distant War: Recollections of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia" was published in 2009 by Merriam Press.
