Dr. Victoria Dunckley is dually board-certified by both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She currently practices nutritional and integrative psychiatry privately in Seal Beach, and with state Regional Centers in Los Angeles, working with special needs children and adults. Her specialty is working with complex and treatment resistant cases, including trauma/abuse/neglect, ADHD, reactive attachment disorder, tics and Tourette Syndrome, mood disorders including bipolar disorder, and in-utero drug-exposed children.
She graduated from Albany Medical College in 1996 and completed adult and child psychiatry training at the Univ of Calif,Irvine, Neuropsychiatric Center in 2001. Dr. Dunckley worked with severely emotionally disturbed youths with Orange County Mental Health for 9 years, including the highest acuity level of residential care in the state. She is currently a blogger, freelance author,speaker,school consultant, and is writing a book on the harmful effects of electronic screens on brain development.
