Leslie Josel is the Principal of Order Out of Chaos. She is an academic/life coach, parenting expert, an award-winning author and acclaimed speaker. She is the creator of the award-winning Academic Planner: A Tool for Time Management®, a planner that helps students develop time management skills, and the author of “What’s the Deal with Teens and Time Management”, a parents’ guide to help teach their students the time management skills they need to succeed.
A respected resource on ADHD and Executive Functioning, Leslie writes a weekly column called “Dear Organizing Coach” for ADDitude Magazine, the premiere resource for adults and children with ADHD and LD. She is also a contributing writer for Family Circle Magazine and writes on a wide variety of topics facing parents today. Leslie also speaks and conducts workshops internationally.
In addition to her focus on parenting issues, Leslie also coaches other women entrepreneurs. A sought after speaker, she presents at conferences on women’s entrepreneurship and is a longtime member of Cornell University’s prestigious President’s Council of Cornell Women.
Leslie lives in Larchmont, NY with her husband, Wayne. Her son, Eli is a junior at Ithaca College and her daughter, Madelyn, lives and works in Washington DC. In her all-too-rare spare time, you can find Leslie hiding out in her car indulging in her favorite treats – entertainment magazines and frozen yogurt.
She brought “Order Out of Chaos” to life from a very personal mission as her son was diagnosed with ADHD as a young child. She founded the company 15 years ago with the goal of providing professional organizing, time management and coaching services; parent and family education, products and resources to families and their children to help them bring order out of chaos to their lives.
