Louis Romano is an entrepreneur turned author. At 60, he has published his first novel, a crime fiction titled "Fish Farm," and is working on a sequel. He also has plans to publish a book of poetry, and a collaborative non-fiction.

"Fish Farm" was largely inspired by Romano's Sicilian heritage and Bronx, New York upbringing. A serious Italophile, Romano has traveled extensively in Italy and Sicily in order to research his lineage. He studies the language, and also produces his own wine.

Romano is currently CEO of Informa Energy, an energy consulting firm, with offices in New York City and New Jersey. He previously worked in an executive capacity for oil giants Castle and Amerada Hess.
