Justin Konz is co-founder and manager of Restoration Capital, LLC - Virginia's premier rehab lender. Since 2006, Mr. Konz has funded over $50 million in investment real estate bridge loans. From property rehabs to foreclosure flips, Restoration Capital has the ability to accommodate real estate investors with flexibility and speed. As head of financing, Mr. Konz is the predominant architect behind Restoration Capital’s innovative loan products.
Mr. Konz also champions the role private real estate lenders can play in stabilizing real estate markets. His company provide loans that bridge the financial gaps (short-term financing needs) banks cannot cover and serve the community by removing properties in distress. In this way, Restoration Capital serves a vital role in restoring value to properties, value to communities, and value to the balance sheets of partnering banks.
Prior to entering the lending industry, Mr. Konz worked at Inova Health System. There, Mr. Konz was active in managing Inova’s $200 million portfolio of hospitals, urgent care centers, administrative buildings and long-term care facilities. Soon after, Mr. Konz received an MBA from the College of William & Mary in 2006 with a concentration in real estate financing. Upon program completion, he helped establish KB Home – a $4 billion company – on the East Coast. At KB Home, Mr. Konz led the financing and joint venture structuring of over $600 million in land development and home construction deals.
