Fran Ponick is the author of Only Angels Can Wing It: How to Prepare a Eulogy Quickly and Present It Compassionately.
Her areas of speaking expertise include Grief at the Workplace: Beyond the Employee Handbook; Empathy: What It Is, How to Get It, What to Do with It; and related topics. She offers individual consultations, coaching/editing services, and adult-education seminars to professional groups. She is married to Terry Ponick, with whom she produced this book. They are the parents of Aislinn Jennifer Ponick, 1969-1990.
She has decades of experience in technical, business, marketing, and proposal writing and editing. As director of publications at The National Association for Music Education, she taught music educators how to write publishable books. She is co-publisher at Edge City Press and was a founder of Edge City Review. Fran has won awards in journalism, formal poetry, acting, and other fields.
