Shara Darden is the president and CEO of Firefly Marketing & PR, Inc. She enjoys working with business leaders to refine plans and budgets toward results-driven promotional activities. Firefly Marketing & PR is a culmination of Shara’s 15 plus years in communications, marketing and event planning for various industries, including hospitality, technology, associations and non-profits. Shara works with businesses primarily in the hospitality, legal services, and non-profit sectors to provide strategic marketing plans, social media marketing and public relations solutions.

Firefly Marketing & PR is a proud member of the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber and the Business Women’s Network, where Shara serves on the board of directors as the director of membership retention. Shara also serves on the steering committee for the Taste & Auction of Howard County, an annual fundraising event that supports Gilchrist Hospice Care of Howard County.

Shara holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and has completed post-graduate courses in International Management and Marketing.
