Since 1999, Marriage and Family Therapist, Liza Shaw, has assisted individuals, couples and families to "move beyond surviving... to thriving." In her career, Ms. Shaw has been published in books, magazines, and professional journals; presented workshops on a variety of topics; and developed a dynamic therapeutic model which empowers people to move their lives far beyond previously held limitations. She coaches people to put the past behind them, to create lives they never dreamed possible.

Liza has expertise in a variety of areas (above), but her speciality is marital/couples therapy. She has mastered the art of what she calls "Divorce Prevention," and asserts that far too many American marriages end in unnecessary divorce. Ms. Shaw states that with the assistance of a "Reconciliation-Competent" therapist, couples have the opportunity to learn from the past conflicts and develop skills to bring them more fulfillment than they ever had before the marital breakdowns.

Liza is a passionate and eloquent speaker and is currently working on a book entitled "An Economy of Words."
