I am the only child of Viennese parents, and throughout my childhood (before coming to America) have lived in various European and South American countries, searching to put down roots and escape prejudice and oppression. Landing in New York City at age 10, I spoke German and Spanish before English, with a terrific ear for language and dialects, that has served me well. The land of the free and the home of the brave provided great opportunities

Although, I've always had dreams of becoming an actress, those dreams were re-routed, as my parents feared that "no living could be made in the field". So, I began to study art (another passion of mine) and attended the HS of Art and Design in NYC, majoring in fashion design with a special interest in photography.

College (Syracuse and Hofstra) yielded a BFA. Right after college, I entered the Advertising world and swiftly rose in the ranks to media director and eventually account supervisor for clients such as Ralph Lauren, Pantene, Canon and many others. During this time, I had a stint on the client side as Advertising Director for Diane von Furstenberg (DVF's first incarnation).

I became a mother at a young age and my husband and I produced two awesome children. I reconnected with my initial love (of acting) and began my new career more than 20 years ago when our youngest child was 2 years old. I am lucky and thrilled to have been taught the craft by some of the world's greatest teachers. Have participated in years of classes and training and amassed a "following" among my peers and industry professionals. Always a willing and cheerful participant to the creative process, have been told that I am a joy to have on the set!

Helping the less fortunate through charity and good works
Watching, interacting and being present to people
