Bio of Natasha R.W. Eldridge, M.A.

Natasha Eldridge is a psychology and education expert specializing in parenting, family and child development. Mrs. Eldridge has fostered the emotional, social and cognitive development of students as young as six weeks of age. She has worked with students in nursery school, elementary, middle, high school and college. Ms. Eldridge has a great deal of experience with researching, developing and implementing successful programs, conducting assessments and case management. She has personally assisted thousands of students who were deemed “at risk” to successfully complete high school and plan for a productive life after secondary school. She has successfully created and implemented wraparound drop out prevention and mentoring programs for disaffected youth in several schools throughout the Newark Public Schools district that serviced hundreds of thousands of students and their families. President Bill Clinton personally commended her in 1999 for her work with urban youth. In 2005, her success was documented when she was interviewed for and quoted in Whatever It Takes: Transforming American Schools—The Project Grad Story.

Ms. Eldridge holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Psychology and has completed the necessary academic course work in the post-graduate program to become certified School Psychologist. Additionally, she is a certified Substance Awareness Coordinator and Elementary School Teacher. Ms. Eldridge has worked as a Program Director and Strategist for nonprofit agencies, conducted numerous parent/student/family workshops, leadership trainings and is a Certified Trainer for the Prudential/Points of Light Youth Leadership Institute.

Ms. Eldridge has held membership in various professional organizations, such as the National Association of School Psychologists, the American Psychological Association, NAACP, NANBPWC, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the National Honor Society, Psi Chi. She appeared on The World News with Diane Sawyer in July 2013 and was recently featured on HelloBeautiful.com. Mrs. Eldridge has contributed as a family and parenting expert to publications such as My365 Magazine. In February 2014 she graduated from the Goldman Sach’s 10,000 Small Businesses Program and was a graduation speaker for the class of successful entrepreneurs.

Ms. Eldridge is the Founding Partner of a Green Brook New Jersey based educational services firm, Eldridge Overton Educational Programs. The firm offers tutoring, test and college preparation programs, College for Kids academic summer camps and academic and enrichment courses for students ages 3-Adult. She also serves as a business developer for several other firms.

In her free time she mentors adolescents and young adults.
