Robert C. Juneau, Jr. Biography
Robert C. Juneau, Jr. was born in 1975 in Alameda, California to Bob Juneau Sr. and Linda Matt Juneau. Both Enrolled Members of the Blackfeet Tribe in Browning, Montana. He lived first in Oakland, California with his parents and two older brothers Ed and Steve then moved to Denver, Colorado and back to the Blackfeet Reservation in 1980. He then attended school in Browning, Montana until his Freshman Year of High School when he attended Sentinel High School in Missoula, Montana for a month and Kickinghorse Job Corps in Ronan, Montana for a month before going to Chemawa Indian School for a Semester. Then he transferred back to Browning High School and graduated in 1994. In 2000 he received a Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History with a minor in Native American Studies in 2002. In the 1990’s Robert helped his father compile a archive for Blackfeet Community College in Browning, Montana and Heart Butte High School on Blackfeet Forced Land Patents. The Sacred Buffalo Vision is based on that research. Robert currently lives in Missoula, Montana.
