A 20-year veteran of public affairs and politics, Marcel Wieder is President of Aurora Strategy Group. He is also founder of Arrow Communications, a communications and marketing agency he established more than 18 years ago. His campaigns combine an understanding of client’s needs with the ability to target them to the right audience with the right message at the right time, using the right vehicles.

Wieder has been recognized with several prestigious awards including three Pollie Awards (the Oscar for political advertising), a Reed Award, three Telly Awards and two Summit Awards for his political ads. He has worked in campaigns at every level and has helped elect over 75% of his clients. Wieder also successfully directed Canada’s largest independent expenditure
campaign, the Working Families Coalition.

Wieder has a degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto and has completed a postgraduate program in marketing at Humber College. He is active in several community organizations and was recognized by the Government of Canada for outstanding service and contribution as a volunteer in 2001.
