For the past 10 years, Managing Partner for MIC Worldwide, a full service investigative and security consultancy providing investigative, business intelligence, risk mitigation and training services to corporate, legal, government and private entities worldwide.
For two years, in charge of Investigations for Microsoft’s Anti-Piracy/Anti-Counterfeit operations in Latin America and the Caribbean. While in this position, spearheaded intellectual property investigations throughout the region that lead to the seizure of hundreds of thousands of copies of pirated and counterfeit Microsoft products and resulted in significant savings to the company.

Prior to joining Microsoft, spent fifteen years with the Drug Enforcement Administration in both operational and managerial positions throughout the U.S. and Latin America. In addition to being the Head of Intelligence for DEA’s Miami Field Division, where he expanded the Intelligence program from eighteen to thirty-six analysts, he was also the Regional Intelligence Manager for the Southern Cone region of DEA based out of Bolivia and with responsibilities for all intelligence programs in Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile and Argentina. Also participated in DEA activities in Panama, Peru, Colombia, Mexico and Colorado, in addition to establishing and heading the Latin America section of the Tactical Support Unit at the El Paso Intelligence Center.

Has spent over thirty years in Latin America, is fully bilingual and bicultural.
