Elliott Robinson, JD, MDiv is the Host of the Creative Tension Podcast which explores the history and legacy of Jim Crow segregation. Elliott provides the missing chapters from American History class, through an NPR-style mixture of interviews, archival audio & roundtable discussions. Creative Tension also uses open and frank discussions to dissect how the legacy of Jim Crow is still impacting our world today. They cover topics ranging from: Racial Violence; Confederate monuments; “The Talk” - Racial Rules & Etiquette; Black stereotypes; The Great Migration; Racialized food; and, much more.
Mr. Robinson is also a Teaching Assistant at Emory University's Candler School of Theology and Candler School of Theology’s Certificate in Theological Studies Program at Arrendale Prison for Women.. He's an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and an Ecumenical Partner with the Georgia Justice Project’s campaign, Second Chance for Georgia. He is
Rev. Robinson received his Master of Divinity from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, his Juris Doctor from the Howard University School of Law and a BS in Business Administration, from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
