Dr. Gordon is a physician, a scientist, an entrepreneur and a visionary. Most of all, he’s a man uniquely committed to seeing God’s handiwork in daily life—whether in the operating room or playing with his kids.
He is an American Board of Neurological Surgery certified neurosurgeon based in Tyler, Texas. A summa cum laude graduate of Texas Tech University, he completed his medical education at Baylor College of Medicine. His internship and residency were completed at the Medical College of Virginia. After residency, he participated in a post-graduate orthopedic spine surgery fellowship in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Gordon helped found Texas Spine & Joint Hospital in Tyler where he practices and serves on the board of directors (www.TSJH.org). Additionally, he serves on the medical staff at Mother Frances Hospital and East Texas Medical Center. Today his clinical efforts at Gordon Spine Associates (www.gordonspine.com) focus on helping treat people suffering from spinal disorders. He serves on the boards of Biologos, Grace Community School in Tyler and Flexuspine, a device company he founded. In addition, he serves on the editorial board of OrthoKnow, a publication serving the orthopedic and spine industry. He counts his family as his greatest gift.
He and his wife Kimberly have two boys and two girls.
