Justin Zufelt has lived a life of service to his family, community, and country. He joined the Army in 2001 and was deployed to Iraq in 2005 for 1.5 years. He was awarded the Purple Heart after sustaining injuries when his Humvee drove over an IED. Justin serves as an Army Officer in the Chaplain Corps and helps soldiers and families overcome the challenges of military service. One way Justin accomplishes this is through teaching Strong Bonds marriage classes to soldiers and their spouses.
Justin is no stranger to the emotional and physical battles our youth and families face. He has dealt with the effects of PTSD after combat service along with the difficulties of life. He brings a wealth of knowledge from his experience as a distinguished war veteran, military officer, former police officer, SWAT team member, federal law enforcement officer, and business owner.
His desire, mission, and goal are to help others realize that they can be the hero of their own story.
Justin is the director of Operation Onward Miracle, which is helping youth and parents discover their inner spiritual strength as they navigate a world plagued by pornography.
Justin and his wife, Leilani, are the parents of five beautiful children.
