George Gao received his Pharmacy Doctor Degree from the University of Kansas. He then practiced at Kroger, KU Medical Center, CVS, and OptumRx (UHG). Dr. Gao currently own and run iPharma Community Pharmacy and co-founded a tech startup company, Nexusera in Kansas City. He is also a senior member of Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) and ISPOR. Dr. Gao has been focusing on the drug utilization problem, and it is in his practicing experiences where he found the needs for medication adherence and created O'kase, a medication adherence management system to solve the real world problem.
