Thomas F. (Tommy) Goodwin is Chief Executive Officer for Miller Wenhold Association Management, a leading global association management company. In this role, he leads Miller Wenhold’s comprehensive work to help associations and non-profit organizations grow, prosper, and achieve their policy change and social impact goals.
Prior to joining Miller Wenhold, he spent more than 20 years leading a wide range of government relations, public affairs, and association management efforts for several globally-recognized associations and corporations, including AARP, Oracle, and the Project Management Institute. Additionally, he was a research fellow at Harvard Business School focused on the international political and legal environment in which business operates.
He has a B.B.A. from The George Washington University, an M.B.A. from Auburn University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in European Union Law from King’s College London. He also holds a Certificate in Public Affairs Management from the Public Affairs Council, a Public Policy Certificate from the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics, and a Certified Association Executive designation from the American Society of Association Executives.
