The CEO of our company is a dog. Kona is a beautiful black pomeranian who became seriously ill from eating chicken jerky made in China. Major American pet treat companies import chicken jerky from China and sell it to unsuspecting and loving dog owners such as ourselves. Both the FDA and the American Veterinary Association has issued multiple warnings about these products.

After Kona luckily recovered (unfortunately other dogs have not been so lucky-see www.laciessite.org for heartbreaking stories), we were unable to find a chicken jerky produced in America. Thus, Kona's Chips was born! We have now been selling chicken jerky that is human grade 100% USDA chicken breast from the Central Valley of California to loving dog owners all across the nation!

Our mission is to dedicate our product to all the dogs who have innocently and needlessly suffered and to raise awareness among dog owners about these dangerous imported products.

Currently, I am involved with a group of dog owners whose dogs have become seriously ill or died from chicken jerky from China. We will be posting some new and interesting stories to our site soon. We hope to get testing done on these products to isolate the toxin(s) and ultimately save dog lives across America.
