Carra has owned retail businesses in Colorado and California called Colorado's Incredible Machine and Tahoe's Incredible Machine.

She is a Graduate of the French Fashion Academy in New York City, New York.
She Graduated from Colorado State University in 1974 with a degree in Merchandising.
She was an instructor at Colorado State University.
She was also an instructor for the Colorado Association of Realtors in the GRI program.(Graduate Realtors Institute)
She has been a Real Estate convention speaker in Colorado and New Mexico.
She has owned 3 different Real Estate offices in Colorado and Hawaii.
She was a top producing agent and had 3 agents become Rookie of the Year under her guidance as a Broker. She represented builders, developers and banks during the good and the bad Real Estate years.
She has been licensed to sell Real Estate in Colorado, Hawaii and Arizona.
