VISION CONSULTING SERVICES
As past chairman of the AIA Florida Growth Management Committee, Hirsch has pursued a range of ways to bring the concept of visioning to communities and organizations. His special training in facilitation, group dynamics and coaching allows him to couple his architecture and planning experience with community action projects. Hirsch was a special consultant to the Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC) assisting in implementing Community Development Corporations (CDC's) in Palm Beach County communities.
Hirsch has designed and facilitated Visioning processes for communities, organizations and religious institutions throughout the United States. Among these are the Cities of Delray Beach, and Boca Raton, as well as the American Institute of Architects, Rotary International, Lutheran Church Extension Fund, International Coach Federation, The Gold Coast Builders Association, The University Club of FAU, and Florida Atlantic University Alumni Association.
COMMISSIONS
Hirsch's impact upon the architectural beauty of Boca Raton is evidenced by residential designs in the Sanctuary, Boca Grove Plantation, Les Jardins, Woodfield Hunt Club, and St. Andrews Country Club among others. One of the first million dollar homes in the Sanctuary was designed by Hirsch.
Commercial projects include Zimmer Corporation's headquarters Research and Development facility which received Boca Raton's first Facility of the Year Award. Others are the CosmePlast medical building in Coral Springs, West Boca Medical Office Center and other numerous facilities.
Hirsch is noted for country club designs and entry statements to residential communities. Among the well known country clubs are The Polo Club, Breakers West Tennis Club, Boca Woods Golf Club, and Boca Grove Plantation Golf Club.
Frenchman's Creek, in Jupiter, has more than 100 of its homes designed by Hirsch, as well as the Beach Club. St. Andrews Country Club also numbers more than 100 homes designed by Hirsch, in addition to the expansion of the Clubhouse.
Hirsch designed a classroom/administration building for Saint Andrew's School in Boca Raton. Commissions also include the master plan, the Sanctuary and classroom buildings for St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Along with private residences and selected commercial projects, Hirsch has started the 21st century with all encompassing ideas for visionary growth. He is involved in an innovative process to combine visioning, facilities planning, architecture, and construction administration. Hirsch is truly an architect with vision who has the ability to create architectural and urban design solutions that become reality.
