The year Maureen McCarthy was told she would die young from a rare, fatal lung disease, she also lost her business partner, best friend, and her business, while in the midst of ending her ten-year marriage. Out of these major life events, Maureen, Director of the Center for Collaborative Awareness, learned to become a living example of effortless relationship; at work and at home. Maureen has worked across the globe with organizations and corporations from Astra Zeneca to the World Relief Organization, and with many communities to create vibrant leaders, inspire new ways of working together, and show us how to self facilitate mutually respectful and harmonious relationships in the midsts of rapid change.
As a true pioneer and visionary in the advancement of designing your own relationship blueprints, Maureen, with her husband and business partner, Zelle Nelson, created the world renown Blueprint of WE Collaboration Document — a collaboration process used to build and sustain healthier, more resilient relationships and teams.
Co-author of the upcoming book Collaborative Awareness: How to Do This Fast-paced Dance Without Stepping on Each Other‘s Toes, Maureen’s years of dynamic speaking and global management consulting have given her the ability to bring an audience to their feet and stir their souls. Her insights into how we as human beings survive, and ultimately thrive, in relationship with ourselves and others, changes the perspectives and the lives of every person who hears her stories. You will walk away with the tools to live a more graceful day-to-day existence, no matter how diverse the people and circumstances around you. Knowing Maureen is life altering.
