Why I Love Florida
I am very excited to share real estate information as it relates to the Palm Beaches and activities and events further south to Fort Lauderdale and Miami and north to Tequesta. The health of the real estate market in Florida is essential to an improving economy.
My goal is to keep you informed of current interest rates, financing trends, area and community sales statistics, important real estate news affecting Palm Beach County, and many suggestions for increasing the market value of your home.
Today, I want to share with you what I love about living full time in Palm Beach County.
Number 1, of course, is the weather. Most of the time, no coat of any weight is a necessary piece of attire. As I am writing this, the sky is clear blue, the sun is bright, and the high today will be 78°.
Number 2 -- the beach. We live just 10 minutes from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world - Juno Beach. The beach is wide, overlooks a lengthy fishing pier and you can walk for miles collecting shells of all sizes. My favorite time to swim in the ocean is the summer and fall because the water is a perfect temperature.
Number 3 - friends and family love to visit. This is particularly significant for me because many friends and family live out of state. Why do they love to visit? See numbers 1 and 2 above.
Number 4 - less traffic. Everything you want to do and everywhere you want to go is only a short drive away. The mall, movies, spas, restaurants, theatre, and, of course, the beaches, are no more than a 10 to 20 minute drive.
Number 5 - year round sports. Whether it is golf, tennis, swimming, bike riding, roller blading or jogging, you can enjoy outdoor sports all year round.
Number 6 - I have made great new friends from all over the world. My life is enriched by my new friends who hail from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Great Britain, South Africa, Germany and dozens of other places near and far and who now call Florida home.
Number 7 - Need an escape? You're just over an hour drive away to Miami and Miami Beach. The food, night life, and architecture are so different that you'll feel like you've traveled to another country.
Number 8 - the Summer. After the season ends and many people go back up north, you never need a reservation anywhere! Life truly slows down and you can smell the roses.Anita Tauber is the principal Broker of Tauber Real Estate Serves, a full service boutique brokerage selling residential real estate in the Northern Palm Beaches from Palm Beach to Jupiter Island including Palm Beach Gardens, Juno Beach, Singer Island, North Palm Beach and Tequesta.
