All Diets Work, But Can You Keep The Weight Off?

You can lose weight using any diet or weight loss program. They all work. The question is, would you be able to keep the weight off after you lose it? Well according to The National Institutes of Health 98% of people who lose weight, gain the weight back. So, if you use any of the current weight loss methods to lose the weight, chances are you will regain the weight back.
Why Most Diets & Weight Loss Programs Deliver Unsustainable Results
To answer that question, let's take a closer look at the processes popular diets and weight loss programs use to help people lose weight. Some count calories, some count points, some have you eliminate carbs, some provide you with the food you should be eating to lose weight, some have you eliminate all junk food and some have you exercise 6 days per week for 60 minutes each time. All these methods work, but my question to you is, can you see yourself following any of these methods forever? If you are like most people the answer is no. The fact is if the process you used to lose weight is not sustainable the results that you achieved are not sustainable. Now you know why 98% of people who lose weight, regain it back. The processes most diets and weight loss programs use to help people lose weight are unsustainable, therefore the results you achieve with those methods are unsustainable.
How To Lose Weight And Keep It Off?
If you want to lose weight and keep it off, whatever you do to lose the weight has to become habitual. There is no way around it. The only way to make something habitual is by repeating the action you are trying to make habitual over and over again until it becomes second nature. This is why you want to start your weight loss program by taking the smallest step possible. This will make it easier to keep repeating. Before you know it, that action will become habitual and you will be doing it a lot more often.
The bottom line, figure out what habits you need to develop in order to lose weight. Figure out which habit you want to work on developing first. Break down that habit into the smallest step possible and start working on that step. Do not work on any other habit until you have mastered that current on.
Yes with this method you will take a little longer to lose the weight, but my question to you is: What is the point of losing weight fast if you are going to regain all the weight back again? Wouldn't you rather take an extra few months and do it right and never worry about your weight again?
