Make your business more personal, make your clients smile!

Business owners and sales reps spend countless hours and more importantly countless dollars trying to connect with their clients on a more personal level. Why? Brand loyalty, repeat sales and word of mouth marketing are the results.
Today’s advertising market offers thousands of common methods to get your clients in the door, but it takes true entrepreneur spirit to bring them back. Quoted on a Zeromillion.com article, “Five ways to get repeat business”, “It costs anywhere from 5 to 8 times more to gain a new customer as opposed to retaining your customers and 68% of customers will stop using your services or fail to return if they feel unappreciated.” They concluded that keeping in touch, understanding customer needs, appreaciating customers, staying competitive and out marketing your competition will ultimately lead to repeat business.
Brand loyalty is commonly referred to as the consumer's conscious or unconscious decision, expressed through intention or behavior, to repurchase a brand continually. According to an article on Essortment.com, “In order to create brand loyalty, advertisers must break consumer habits, help them acquire new habits, and reinforce those habits by reminding consumers of the value of their purchase and encourage them to continue purchasing those products in the future.”

Quoting Laura Lake’s article on about.com, Why word of mouth marketing?, “word-of-mouth marketing is the best marketing because it comes with credibility and it costs you nothing.”

These three very important and sometimes unattainable aspects to any business can be easily captured through a new ingenious free website. Imagine if you knew your clients favorite things, coffee preferences, favorite food, favorite hobby and more. You could easily connect with them on a personal level and once you do that you will finally obtain brand loyalty, repeat sales and quality word of mouth. For example, if you own a car service company, you could have their favorite magazine and coffee waiting for them. Do you think the next time they needed a car service they would call yours? If you own a local restaurant, you could easily know what cocktail and dinner they enjoy most. Where do you think they would continue to dine?

This ingenious free service is www.favsmile.com, a new niche social networking site developed to share and search the world’s favorites. It was not built to compete with the Facebook or Linkedin but to offer what those sites lacked, the ability to share and search what make each and every one of us unique. To make us each smile, one favorite thing at a time.

The site is new so their user base is small, but growing quickly. If you want your business to achieve a personality, I advise you to introduce your clients to this site. Once they sign up you will be able to serve them better, which will serve you better.
